Friday Morning

Seriously, I haven't been this tired in some time and I don't understand how it happened!

I went to bed at a decent time, but couldn't fall asleep... it was strange. I was absolutely exhausted, but for some reason I couldn't nod off... And now I can feel it in every inch of my body.

I know it's Friday, and I should be joyous that my weekend is a mere 10hrs away at this point, but instead I dread getting ready and heading off to work this morning.

I am most definitely stopping for a coffee on the way to work; I fear if I don't I won't make it much past lunch before crashing into a fantastic pile on the floor.

Time to start the mantra. "I will stay awake. I am not that tired. I will stay awake. I am not that tired... "

I think it will be more affective with the aide of a coffee in my hand! Wish me luck!

Emergency Chocolate

Last night, just before nodding off, my fiance and I were having a discussion about how I tend to lose my cool when anything goes wrong with either my computer or my car. I tend to attack the first person I can get ahold of. Mostly my fiance and my Da.

Say my car started making a funny sound and stopped working. I would try what I know, and if nothing worked I would call my fiance or my Da and begin letting loose the fury of frustration I possess. Completely unfair, I know, but I just seem to need that explosion to gain composure once again.

Anyway, back to topic. We were discussing some of my past "episodes" when I randomly, on the verge of sleep, mentioned how a car should have Emergency Chocolate! My fiance just started laughing and offered up some thoughts on how this would work. "A compartment would just open up and there would be chocolate for the girl?" "How would you work that out?" "I think Binga would agree." "It would just pop out when you needed it!"

Here I was tired and ready to fall asleep and he starts spouting all these ideas... Suffice it to say we continued this train of thought until we both passed out from exhaustion. It was pretty funny. But I did tell him I was serious. Chocolate calms people down. It's just something he should keep in mind when I get a new car sometime in the future.

I really want to go and get a Mint Mocha... but I know I really don't need one... Yet, I can day dream about it!

Maybe I could make one at home. But they never taste the same. :(

I already had my coffee for the day, I don't feel like making another pot... I only ever drink one cup if I'm lucky to finish that much... I tend to sip... and then the coffee gets too cold or greasy and doesn't taste as good anymore.

I think I'm going to distract myself my fetching the mail.

Coffee

I do enjoy getting up in the morning and drinking a cup of coffee!

Granted... there are times when it takes me all day to drink just one cup.

But that way I know I'm fully enjoying it!!!

Busy Busy Busy

Work: *Is it just me or did this week seem to crawl by on a jet engine? I know the week was short, and is some aspect it felt extremely short, but also it seemed to drag on... Either way it's FRIDAY! *Yesterday my student was just a handful, and then today she was a dream... is there something in the water? I bet it has something to do with the fact that the kids haven't gone outside for recess in over 2 weeks! The district has a policy that if the wind chill is below 0 we have to keep the kids indoors. It wasn't so bad to start with, but Wednesday they all started catching Cabin Fever. I eventually told them to pick everything up and sit in a circle; I taught them a new game to play! They loved it and the time flew by! Then Thursday rolled around and I decided to do something a little different. I had both Kindergarten classes get together and I taught them two new songs, we then went and sang them to the preschool room and the first grade rooms. The kids loved the attention, the other classes had some entertainment, and the supervisors and myself kept out sanity! *My afternoon job has me working the same position I had last year and I'm loving it! Once again I'm the Games Coordinator, or at least that's what I call myself. I basically teach all the sites games and music, and once in awhile transitional tips. For some reason my afternoons seem to fly by! And I get to do what I love constantly!!!

Plans: *The plan is to update more often... but who knows. Life sometimes throws me curve balls I was never expecting!

Random: *I'm on a huge dark chocolate kick right now!
